A lovely dance studio in Milan that will be a game-changer for your wellbeing and confidence

Dance Studio

You’ve always wanted to take dance lessons but never managed to because of your busy schedule? It’s time to discover Iconique, your dance studio in Milan.

But first things first.

According to a study conducted by Australian researchers from the University of Sydney, the results of which were published in “Sports Medicine”, dancing seems to have very beneficial effects on psychological and cognitive health.

Dancing, more than any other form of physical exercise, appears to be able to counter the effects of depression. Sounds interesting, right?

Let’s also consider what dancing does for your body (and soul). It makes you more flexible and greatly improves your posture, you will move more gracefully, your muscles will be toned and your core will be stronger.

Dancing regularly will also make you feel less stressed and way more relaxed.

Whether you live in Milan or are just visiting for a few days, here’s a great dance studio for you.

Iconique

Iconique is located a stone’s throw from the heart of the Navigli district, in a lively and buzzing area, but tucked away in an inner courtyard and sheltered from the noise of the city.

What is Iconique? It combines the typical features of a ballet school with those of a gym, but is much more, because it’s also a place where you can take a break and get in shape whilst relaxing, finding peace and increasing your self-confidence.

Even if you haven’t exercised or if you haven’t danced for years, Iconique is the place for you, because it offers a series of courses with different levels of intensity, so that you can find the perfect fit for your needs. No matter your age or fitness level.

Let’s discover all the courses.

Barre-fitness

This course combines ballet, yoga and Pilates. Even though this type of exercise involves all muscle groups, there’s a particular focus on the legs and the back.

Classical ballet

This is classical ballet training that has been adapted for amateurs, and the good thing is that it doesn’t require any previous ballet training. Perfect for toning your muscles and moving way more gracefully.

Body Ballet

This course combines typical classical ballet movements with power fitness. The result? You’ll burn calories (perfect if you want to lose some weight), strengthen your muscles and move more elegantly.

Stretching

A special stretching programme tailored for your individual needs, that will improve your flexibility and prevent injuries. And remember that a good stretching routine may help release chronically tight muscles.

Pilates

If you want to improve your posture whilst strengthening your core (so important for your overall health) and reducing stress at the same time, Pilates is for you. After learning the basics of Pilates, such as the main positions and movements, you’ll be able to create your own routine.

How are the courses structured? You can book a trial lesson and, if you like their style, opt for a single lesson or for a package of lessons (minimum 4).

Online courses

You’ve tried the benefits of exercising at Iconique in Milan but can’t stay in the city anymore? Opt for their online courses!
