Arctic by BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group is a genius series of lamps, inspired by the geometric formations of ice crystals. Arctic lamps can be suspended, ceiling-mounted, placed on a surface or integrated into a space. They reflect and deconstruct reality, and are formed from geometric elements that play with reflections. A multitude of mirrored surfaces, positioned side by side, shifts with the viewpoint. The heart of the lamp contains a heat-dissipating structure that supports a series of LED circuits, ensuring an even 360° light distribution.
Another example is Idyllium by Carlotta de Bevilacqua. An infinite loop created by a modular arc with a three-dimensional curve that folds in on itself to create a continuous structure where light and structure are one.
Alambicco by Neil Poulton is a modular suspension light that enhances the beauty of blown glass, playing with transparencies and textures to diffuse light. The special processing of the glass is hand-crafted at the Artemide glass factory and it ensures that each Alambicco lamp is unique.
