ROOMS
Its 104 guestrooms ‒ which include 36 suites and junior suites ‒ overlook beautiful inner courtyards and quaint cobblestone streets, and combine relaxing hues with vibrant touches of purple. RESTAURANTS AND BAR
The beating heart of the hotel, which you can reach through reception, is the Mandarin Garden. It is a rather informal restaurant and bar ‒ in a trendy black and white space ‒ that offers casual menus for lunch and dinner created by executive chef Antonio Guida, and a range of cocktails for aperitivo and after-dinner.
Seta is the more formal restaurant of the hotel: a two-Michelin-starred fine dining restaurants, where you can sit inside one of the hotel’s leafy and elegant courtyards (a distinctive feature of Milanese architecture).
Seta is accessible from the Mandarin Garden or also from its own entrance on Via Monte di Pietà, and it welcomes both hotel guests and visitors in search of a great dining experience. For anybody looking for complete privacy, the restaurant even features a private dining room designed by Fornasetti: the “Saletta Duomo”.
Chef Antonio Guida will delight you with dishes that have their roots in traditional Italian cuisine, including the so-called “cucina povera” (literally “poor cuisine”), but also include elements of the French and Asian gastronomic traditions.
At Seta’s, you’ll even be able to watch chefs at work thanks to large glass windows.
SPA
Last, but truly not least, there’s the hotel’s fabulous Spa. A true sensory paradise if you’re looking for a regenerating break after an intense day of shopping or sightseeing in the city. The space boasts six treatment rooms (two single rooms, two double rooms, a Thai massage room and a Spa suite). The treatments provided here blend ancient and modern techniques and have been developed together with experts in Traditional Chinese Medicine, in homage to the oriental spirit of the Mandarin hotels.
