Interesting Fashion Shops in Milan: Discover the Colourful World of Malìparmi

Fashion shops in Milan

Among the various fashion shops in Milan, Malìparmi stands out for its distinctive prints, beautiful embroidery and creative approach to Italian fashion.

If you’re exploring the many fashion shops in Milan and love beautiful prints, unusual colour combinations and clothes with a personality of their own, Malìparmi is a name worth knowing.

The story behind Malìparmi

Malìparmi was founded in 1977 by Marol Paresi, a creative and curious woman with a passion for travelling, discovering different cultures and experimenting with unusual materials.

It all began with jewellery, inspired in part by her love of Murano glass and its extraordinary colours. Bags soon followed, decorated with embroidery, stones and other ornamental details. Footwear was introduced during the 1980s, while the clothing collections arrived around 2000.

Annalisa Paresi, Marol’s daughter, played an important role in developing the business and transforming her mother’s creative ideas into an established fashion brand.

The baton then passed to Annalisa’s daughter, Virginia Da Sie, who now leads Malìparmi carrying forward the original values that have defined the brand for nearly 50 years.

Three generations of women, united by a passion for creativity, craftsmanship and fashion with a distinctive personality.

Autumn/Winter 2026–2027: colour takes centre stage

If there’s one thing that immediately catches your attention when you walk into the Malìparmi boutique in Milan’s Brera district, it’s the wonderful variety of colours and patterns.

And the Autumn/Winter 2026–2027 collection certainly doesn’t disappoint.

Forget the idea that winter clothes have to be predominantly black, grey or beige. Here you’ll find an interesting mix of warm autumnal shades, deep blues, greens, pinks and vibrant reds, often combined in unexpected ways.

The collection includes beautifully patterned trouser suits, floral jackets, richly decorated coats and colourful knitwear.

Some of the jackets feature elaborate floral motifs, while others play with geometric designs, jacquard fabrics and contrasting colours.

Combinations of brown, rust, burgundy and orange are particularly suited to the colder months, offering an interesting alternative to more conventional winter colours.

And if you’re looking for a statement coat, there are certainly some interesting options to explore.

Beautiful embroidery and a passion for detail

One of Malìparmi’s most recognisable features is its attention to decorative details.

The brand places great importance on craftsmanship, with prints designed by hand and embroidery playing a central role in many of its creations.

This is particularly evident in the Autumn/Winter 2026–2027 collection.

The embroidered jackets feature intricate floral patterns and carefully chosen colour combinations. Some have a slightly exotic feel, reflecting the brand’s longstanding interest in different cultures and traditional decorative techniques.

Others combine more classic shapes with unexpected embellishments, making them interesting alternatives to conventional jackets and coats.

And many of these pieces don’t necessarily need elaborate styling.

An embroidered jacket, for example, could look wonderful with a simple pair of trousers or jeans. Let the jacket do the talking!

Shoes and bags that are anything but ordinary

Malìparmi’s love of decorative details doesn’t stop at clothing.

The Autumn/Winter 2026–2027 accessories collection is equally interesting, particularly if you enjoy shoes and bags with a little personality.

Among the highlights are velvet flats, including a particularly eye-catching pink pair with sparkling embellishments.

There are also Mary Jane-style shoes decorated with jewelled details, as well as ankle boots featuring bold buckles.

And the bags?

Expect embroidery, beads, interesting textures and unusual colour combinations.

Some are small and decorative, perfect for adding a distinctive touch to an evening outfit, while others are more practical but still unmistakably Malìparmi.

For those who tend to wear fairly simple clothes, an embellished bag or a pair of colourful shoes could be a lovely way to introduce something different into their wardrobe.
