Are you a true coffee enthusiast and you want to discover a truly great coffee shop in Milan? Cafezal is the place for you.
Coffee has a key role in the Italian lifestyle: it’s been part of the Italian culture for centuries, it’s delicious and it’s a quick way to recharge your energy, so important in a fast-paced city like Milan.
This is probably the reason why Milan is the ideal setting for Cafezal, a real “temple” for coffee lovers who look for outstanding quality and impeccable service.

The story of Cafezal and its pursuit of quality
The idea of Cafezal is the result of the love for top-quality coffee of its founder, Carlos Bitencourt, a Brazilian engineer who moved to Milan where he dedicated himself to his passion and created Cafezal, which means “coffee plantation” in Portuguese (a homage to Brazil ‒ the world’s biggest coffee producer).
What is the main secret behind Cafezal’s outstanding quality? Sourcing the best coffee from farmers in Brazil, Honduras and Ethiopia, where the best beans are carefully hand-picked from micro-lots.
Excellent flavour and sustainability
The founder of Cafezal and the selected farmers he works with share the same passion and the same vision: the pursuit of unparalleled quality whilst protecting the environment and supporting local communities, thanks to ethical and sustainable practices.
Where can you taste the flavour of Cafezal’s coffee in Milan?
Cafezal – Coffee Hub
This is a 500 sq m (5381 sq ft) space, aesthetically pleasing yet very functional, where coffee is carefully selected, roasted and brewed, offering coffee lovers the full experience. Whilst enjoying the unique taste of Cafezal specialty coffee, you can also have pastries, lunch/brunch alternatives or even aperitif.
But there’s more, because in the basement of the coffee shop in Viale Premuda there is the Cafezal’s Members’ Club, with two different subscription levels (Premium and Standard Plans).
Amongst the benefits:
- new coffee blend samplings prior to their official release,
- direct use of a special coffee machine that allows you to create your own personal blend,
- privileged access to courses and events (yes, Cafezal also prides itself on the special Cafezal Academy, if you want to become a true coffee connoisseur),
- exclusive discounts.
And if you need a place to work when you’re in Milan, you can opt for Cafezal’s Co-Working Space which is cozy and welcoming. Prices are affordable and range from €8 for half-day to €400 for an entire semester.
